An Evening Inspired by the Venetian Renaissance

The Anderson Arts Center's Annual Art Auction (November 7, 2026) is our premier fundraising event, bringing together art lovers, collectors, and community supporters for an unforgettable evening celebrating creativity. This year's theme, Colorìto: The Essence of the Venetian Renaissance, sets the stage for an elegant night of fine art, exciting silent auction, delicious food and drinks, and meaningful support for the arts. Every bid helps sustain the Anderson Arts Center's exhibitions, education programs, and community outreach, ensuring the arts continue to thrive in our region.

Celebrate Colorìto, the essence of the Venetian Renaissance.

Colorìto (koh-loh-REE-to) is an Italian term from the Venetian Renaissance that celebrates the expressive power of color, light, and atmosphere. While artists in Florence emphasized precise drawing, Venetian masters believed color could evoke emotion, create movement, and bring paintings to life. This year's Art Auction embraces that spirit with an evening inspired by the beauty, elegance, and artistry of Venice. Guests are invited to add to the festive atmosphere by wearing a Venetian mask, if they wish, and join us for a celebration where art, color, and creativity take center stage. Dress: Casual Elegance.

By joining us, you’re supporting the Anderson Arts Center’s mission. Funds raised from the event will support programming, exhibitions, and educational initiatives that benefit the community. Supporting the arts is essential for fostering creativity, expression, and cultural enrichment, making events like the Annual Art Auction vital for the continued success of the Anderson Arts Center.

Get ready for a dazzling evening full of color, culture, and connection—this is one event you won’t want to miss!
